As the Founder, President, and Designer of Ruthie Davis®, I create luxury high heels and platform shoes that empower women to stand tall, stand strong, and stand out. My designs are bold yet timeless, modern yet wearable, and built on the brand DNA I have carefully crafted since launching in New York City in 2006.
I ensure unparalleled quality and craftsmanship in every step of my process. My edgy, standout designs have become the top choice for leading celebrities including Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, Zendaya, Ariana Grande, Halsey, and Demi Lovato. My shoes are also worn by supermodels and icons like Naomi Campbell, Halle Berry, Kendall Jenner, Laverne Cox, Madison Beer, and Billy Porter, as well as elite athletes such as Lindsey Vonn and Alex Morgan.
As a proud member of the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) and recipient of the AAFA’s Designer of the Year award, I approach each shoe as a piece of architectural art. I design footwear that pushes boundaries while staying rooted in chic, functional style that women around the world covet.
With an MBA in Entrepreneurship from Babson College, I bring both business acumen and creative vision to the world of designer women’s footwear. I earned a BA in English and Visual Arts from Bowdoin College, graduated Cum Laude from the Loomis Chaffee School, and was inducted into Babson’s Entrepreneur Hall of Fame. Before launching my brand, I held executive roles at Reebok, UGG Australia, and Tommy Hilfiger.
Today, ruthiedavis.com is a global direct-to-consumer platform with a loyal community of over 400k followers on Instagram, 150k on TikTok, and 100k on Facebook. My shoes are worn by confident, empowered women across the world.
My brand has also led major collaborations, including:

Beyond leading my brand, I serve as a fashion expert featured on Bravo, E!, Bloomberg, CNBC, Fox News, CBS News, Yahoo Finance, NBC, and the Empowerography Podcast. I contribute to organizations including the University of Delaware Fashion Advisory Board, Loomis Chaffee Head Council, New Britain Museum of American Art Education Committee, and the CFDA Scholarship Program Selection Committee.
I regularly speak to students and professionals across the country. I have lectured at MIT Sloan School of Management and NYU Stern, taught footwear design at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) and the University of Delaware, and continue to mentor emerging designers and entrepreneurs.
